Armor Road Cases has designed foam inserts for their Pelican case iM3410. This case is a long case that can be used for storing delicate equipment. Our customer M/s. P.A. People had a Pelican case iM3410 which they wanted to use for travelling with microphone and its accessories. To give enhanced protection to its contents, we have created customized foam inserts. Heavy duty EVA foam has been used which does not get damaged due to wear and tear.
As per their requirements, two layers have been made with foam inserts for storing parts separately. These two layers are stacked on one another inside the case for optimum storage space. As per the shape and dimensions of the accessories to be stored, 3D shapes are being cut by using laser scanning technology. This helps to create exact shapes in the foam inserts so that the contents do not move inside the case while in transit. The top layer of the 2-layered foam insert, is removable for accessing the bottom layer. At the base of the top layer, a sheet of plywood has been provided to give strength and sturdiness. A foam sheet also has been provided in the interior of the lid to absorb unwanted shocks and jerks.
