The PC Locs Carrier 40 is a mobile device charging station designed to contain and charge laptops, tablets, iPad and a wide assortment of devices, sometimes while on the move.
The Carrier 40 stands one metre tall, half a metre wide, and weighs a significant 75KG. It is ambulated by four rolling casters.
We designed a road case featuring 9mm laminated plywood, and 10mm EVA foam lining. We also included a front opening door on caster wheel with a built-in ramp. Rectangular PE foam cutout was put on two sides of the case.
We designed a road case featuring 9mm laminated plywood, and 10mm EVA foam lining. We also included a front opening door on caster wheel with a built-in ramp. Rectangular PE foam cutout was put on two sides of the case.
For more efficient handling, we put two medium handles on all sides on the case, making 8 in total.
Also, two medium latches were put on the right side of the road case plus heavy-duty aluminium extrusion ball corners.
In the end, we produced a very functional piece of equipment guaranteed to produce maximum utility for many years to come. Eight handles make for easy portage; heavy-duty steel casters will evenly distribute weight around the road case while it is in motion.
