This road case for Aguilar DB180 bass cab is designed to reduce heavy handling for stage crew. The size and weight of the cab makes it difficult to handle and can be a safety hazard for crew members on a busy stage.Â
This case is designed with removable front lid that is without any cutouts for recessed latches. Instead, Penn Elcom over latches are used so that lid and the base case would have a flush edge when lid is removed. This reduces the chances of injuries on stage to crew members as well as artist performing. The over latches are sprint loaded and fold back when not in use thus reduces the chances of anyone getting caught walking pass the road case.Â
Plenty of recessed handles are allowed around the case to make it easy to push it around and standing it up.Â
Trap door underneath the case will provide access to the connectors at the back of the cab once it is in a stand up position. Â
